I am fortunate to do what I love for a living. What do I love? I love to explore and observe the physical body and its movements; understanding its functioning and its needs. I teach Pilates and Yoga, and through my guidance, help my students experience more than just improved, physical change. Through tailored physical movement and precise directions I help students to connect or to re-connect to their bodies: So that they get to know themselves better, make healthier choices and become more sensitive to their bodies' needs.
I was born in Gdańsk Poland. At age 6, I moved to Berlin, Germany where I grew up and lived most of my life. I graduated with a marketing degree and worked for a while in the event management industry (a stressful and hectic work environment). Life brought me to the Netherlands in early 2000 where I discovered the Pilates Method for the first time. This discovery made me leave the corporate world and start the Pilates teacher training program in Den Haag. After receiving my Classical Pilates Instructor Certification, life brought me to New York City in 2006, where I live, teach and continue to learn. I started my meditation practice here and also discovered Iyengar Yoga. I am very grateful for my life and all that I have discovered & experienced along the way. And I am happy to share it with you!
