BACKCARE WORKSHOP

Experience the Happy Back Workshop

Monika's goal for this workshop is to provide you with a basic understanding of a few common back conditions so that you can recognize, address and work with them. After completing this workshop, you will have a toolkit of effective treatments and a sequence that I have collected throughout my years of teaching clients with back problems and also from having my own back sensitivities.


Doctors prescribe to most lower back patients Pilates and yoga. However, some patients with lower back pain complain that their back hurts more after doing yoga or Pilates. Monika wants to share some insights from her perspective as a Pilates/yoga teacher, and also as a person who has had a serious back injury affecting her vertebrae and is living and practicing with this condition.


What Monika wants you all to take away from this workshop is at least that you understand what to watch out for, what to do, and how to best modify your practice. 

This workshop is for students who have...

  • Back spasms/ pulled muscles
  • Tight/ weak back muscles and a weak core
  • Disc injuries (Bulges/ Herniations)
  • S/I joint dysfunction (just briefly touching on it)

Own a Studio?

This workshop provides tools and strategies to those clients who suffer from back issues so they can practice yoga/pilates and other movement modalities safely. It's also a great resource for teachers so they can learn how to modify for clients who complain that their backs feel irritated during or after their class. 


Pricing can be set by the studio and revenues will be split 50/50
