“Vania Erives Caballero, Lawyer by profession, Yoga Teacher, Life Coach and Facilitator of Ancestral Psychotherapies by vocation who is living on Cozumel. Facilitator of self-generating experiences where we can reach high levels of consciousness, managing to move away from repetitive and self-destructive mental programming. In my personal experience, I was able to find in our ancestral Mexican traditions, as well as in others of our humanity, practices that bring us closer to the meeting point with ourselves, this place where our consciousness begins to expand. The teacher or the teacher on your way is yourself, your being. In my hands is to provide you with expansion tools to create responsibility with yourself and to continue your process of awareness towards self-knowledge and connection with the Supreme Being. I firmly believe in the Dalai Lama’s words “Western women will change the world”. This change is a process that begins within ourselves, healing and empowering each other.
It is in our bellies, as in that of Mother Earth, that all the memories and ancestral wisdom that vibrate in each of our cells are kept. I thank Cozumel, thanks to my teachers, ancestors, and thanks to me for allowing me to be an instrument of divinity to continue living from love.”
Who is Monica
“Monica Kan, originally from Mexico city currently living in Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo is a holistic massage therapist with 12 years of experience in traditional Mexican medicine. Seeker for a vision quest, therapist in Quantico bioengineering, uterus healing circles guide and dedicated tothe service of the great spirit. She is the carrier of the nagur prayer and will guide us through a native fire ceremony on Wednesday evening. She will also offer massages spots on Wednesday March 8th + Thursday March 9th.
Please let me know if you’d like a massage, and I will reserve a spot for you! I was fortunate to have a massage with her and enjoyed her touch and her involvement of sacred stones and essential oils during the massage session.

Worried about making a commitment now due to COVID?
Many travel insurance companies offer specific add on premiums for Covid protections which include sickness, flight cancellations, retreat cancellations, border/ travel restriction. Allianz was the popular choice for participants in 2021 and you can click HERE to see what they cover.
I am grateful to report that all participants of the 2021 & 2022 retreats were able to travel internationally and participate all activities in full health and peace of mind knowing that the following precautions were in place.
We comply with the country's protocol when it comes to vaccination and testing. We will continue to update our guests as the protocol evolves.
COVID-19 Information:
- All rooms have windows, fans, AC
- Dinners, breakfasts, will be served open-air
- the "Yoga Shala's" where Yoga, Meditation, Pilates, Dance will be held in studios with huge mosquito net windows which offer plenty of ventilation
- We will respect the following safety protocols: hand washing/ sanitizing feet before entering the studio, mats, props will be disinfected after each class by the participants
- Travellers visiting Mexico are not required to fill out the Passenger Locator Form, regardless of their country of origin, are not required to display a certificate of vaccination or recovery from COVID-19, or evidence of a negative test result from SARS-CoV-2 infection (PCR or Rapid Antigen test)
